Student Code of Conduct
The Student Code of Conduct is the district鈥檚 response to the requirements of Chapter 37 of the Texas Education Code.
The Code provides methods and options for managing students in the classroom, school sponsored events, on school grounds, disciplining students, and preventing and intervening in student discipline problems. The law requires the district to define misconduct that may鈥攐r must鈥攔esult in a range of specific disciplinary consequences including removal from a regular classroom or campus, out-of-school suspension, placement in a disciplinary alternative education program (DAEP), or expulsion from school.
This Student Code of Conduct has been adopted by the 日本av无码 Board of Trustees and developed with the advice of the district-level committee. This Code provides information to parents and students regarding standards of conduct, consequences of misconduct, and procedures for administering discipline.
Student Handbook
The 日本av无码 Student Handbook is designed to provide basic information that you and your child will need during the school year. The handbook is divided into two sections:
Section I – Parental Rights聽–聽with information to assist you in responding to school related issues. We encourage you to take some time to closely review this section of the handbook.
Section II – Other Important Information for Student and Parents – Organized alphabetically by topic and, where possible, further divided by applicability to ages and/or grade levels, for quick access when searching for information on a specific issue.
Student Dress Code
Research has concluded that students are able to perform at their highest level in a safe and secure environment. A strong correlation exists between student appearance and the perception and/or reality of school violence.
The District鈥檚 dress code is established to teach grooming and hygiene, prevents disruption, and minimizes safety hazards. Students and parents may determine a student鈥檚 personal dress and grooming standards in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Student Handbook.
